A heat pump water heater is an electric water heater that heats water by moving heat from the surrounding air into the tank, rather than creating heat directly with electric resistance elements. What is a Tankless Water Heater?
A tankless water heater heats water only when you turn on a hot-water faucet. There is no big water tank storing gallons of hot water. Once you turn on the hot water, cold water flows through the unit a gas burner or electric heating element heats it very quickly you get hot water out of the faucet or shower. So compared with a normal tank heater: Tankless heater, heats water on demand as it passes through. The main benefit is that you don’t waste as much energy keeping stored water hot, and you can get a long continuous supply of hot water. The catch is that it can only heat so many gallons per minute at once, so proper unit & sizing for your household matters.
What is a Gas Hot Water Heater?
A gas water heater uses a gas to heat your water. In a regular tank gas water heater: Cold water enters the tank and gas burner underneath lights the flame to heat the tank and the water inside. It usually burns natural gas or propane. If the tank is completely cold and you want to heat the water from about 60°F to 120°F, a typical residential gas water heater might take roughly: 50 gallons: about 50–70 minutes | 60 gallons: about 60–80 minutes | 80 gallons: about 75–110 minutes. The exact time depends heavily on how powerful the gas burner is. A 50-gallon heater with a 40,000 BTU burner will heat more slowly than one with a 60,000 BTU burner.

Even patched up the wall (surprise because I had minor work done with another company that left open holes in my walls). Super Brothers handled the permits and setting up the inspection. On day of inspection I called to coordinate the inspection time and they handled the final inspection with the city. My wife chose this company, I should have listened to her in the first place and would have saved myself a headache and money from the first company I chose. Super Brothers is super.

But as things tend to do, the project increased in scope to replacing our old galvanized pipes. As Dima from SB said, there was no point in a filter if we were going to push the water through those pipes! Given that we had the baby on the way, he and his team reorganized their schedule so that they could repipe our entire house before we moved in. They did quick and quality work and the price was competitive. I wouldn't hesitate to call them for my next plumbing project.

We got a RIDICULOUS $3000 quote from another company to fix our shower cartridge, so I reached out to Super Brothers to see what they would charge because Google says it should only cost between $200 and $400. They didn't feed us BS about needing to replace pipes and all that, or jack the price up after showing up in person. They came right on time and fixed it quickly. They also gave us 2 gift cards for future use with them if we should need them to come back and fix anything, and a little notebook. We will definitely use them in the future!

Not only did Super Brothers offer a fair quote on their first visit, but they went above and beyond getting the heavy water heater into the attic of a 2 story duplex. Most recently this year, I had them install two new toilets in my house, a new sink in a bathroom and they serviced my air conditioner. All done with professionalism and patience. In between those two services, we've also had them install a new shower cartridge in an older home, a complete repipe to fix a leak and increase water pressure and a new electric water heater in an older home. If Super Brothers offers the service, that's who I'm calling. 7 stars. Highly recommended!
